Yumami Dressing
Like many people out there, once I tried Whitewater Cookbooks Glory Bowl Dressing I was totally hooked. And then I started experimenting... now, THIS is my new salad and vegetable dressing obsession. I call it Yumami because of the addicting umami flavour that is the result of tamari and two cloves of Black Garlic. You can use this as a dressing for your favourite salad (green, pasta, or other) and it is also excellent on meat and vegetable bowls.
Give this a try, you will not be disappointed. Also, sorry in advance for your new addiction.
Ingredients:
- 2 cloves of black garlic
- 1 clove of peeled garlic
- 1" of ginger (adjust to suit your gingery preference)
- 1/2 TB of honey
- 1 TB of sesame oil
- 1 TB of tahini
- 3 TB of apple cider vinegar
- 3 TB of water
- 3 TB of tamari
- 1/4 C of nutritional yeast
- 1-1/4 C of avocado oil
Blend all of the above ingredients with an immersion blender until smooth. Place in a glass jar and store in the refrigerator for 7 days.
