Broadway is another porcelain with intense and spicy garlic flavour. This is a porcelain variety so the paper is creamy white with shades of brown and purple. The cloves are medium to large size in each bulb, with 4-6 cloves per bulb. Porcelain varieties are extremely hardy to plant here on the west coast and store well due to their thicker skins. This variety can be stored in the right conditions for 8 months.
Medium size bulbs are 1.75"-2"; 10-14 bulbs/lb.
Large size bulbs are 2"-2.5"; 6-10 bulbs/lb. - this is the ideal size for planting
Extra Large size bulbs are 2.5"-3.5"; 4-6 bulbs/lb.
